You can plug it onto the back of the Strike Gundam, but it doesn't really look great.

Either way, you could call this the definitive version of the Strike weapon set.

Following the BB Senshi Strike Gundam, the Striker Weapon System was released in SD form as an expansion set including the Aile/Sword/Launcher packs. And as a bonus, the Skygrasper is thrown in too, making for a really generous lineup.

The Aile pack has nice color separation and looks great, but the Sword and Launcher are molded in basically a single color, so they look a bit plain straight out of the snap-fit build. The level of detail is decent enough for SD scale, and things like the beam boomerangs and the articulated launcher mount gimmick are all there.

The Skygrasper is made from a single light blue piece, so there's no color separation and the sculpt lacks depth. The underside is also a mess of huge sink holes... ^^; On the plus side, the design of the small attachment points — allowing individual connection with the Aile/Sword/Launcher packs as well as all three at once — is well thought out.

Overall, the Aile/Sword/Launcher Strike set offers a solid package, and the real appeal is being able to enjoy all this flashy weapon swapping even at the small SD scale. Especially when you consider the ¥1000 price tag, it feels more generous than just about any other SD out there. If you're a Gundam SEED fan, this is definitely one worth picking up. :-)
