The Blitz Gundam has been released as a BB Senshi, and it came out as a small but tough-looking kit with a real charismatic black color scheme. For an SD, it feels like the facial features (?) are surprisingly well-defined — the proportions feel closer to Kotobukiya's D-Style than a traditional BB Senshi.
The color separation is a bit lacking here and there, but the rich, deep black molded color pretty much covers everything. The Trikeros — Blitz's signature weapon — is molded as a single piece, so it lacks depth and color separation, which is a bit of a shame. That said, the Gleipnir comes with a wire part for the launching effect and an open claw part, so the accessories are actually pretty solid.
In terms of pure "cool factor," the SD Blitz Gundam has to be up there among the top of the SD lineup. It's not the most cute-looking SD out there, but once you build it and set it on display, it's got a presence all its own. I'd definitely recommend this kit to SEED fans, as well as anyone who's into SDs with that small-but-fierce kind of vibe. :-)
