The Duel Gundam with its Assault Shroud armor has been released in SD form. If Buster Gundam were included, we'd have the complete SEED Season 1 Gundam quintet — but since Buster never got a release, this one effectively wraps up the quartet.

The Duel Gundam base body follows pretty much the same concept as the SD Strike, and since it needs to fit the extra armor over it, it comes out a bit slimmer in shape. Color separation and articulation are both decent — nothing particularly standout, but no real complaints either. ^^ The Assault Shroud armor is faithfully reproduced as per the design specs, and the left shoulder missile pod opening gimmick is even (amazingly!) done as a movable feature.

It's a pretty standard BB Senshi kit with solid, reliable quality — but then again, SD is a lineup where the character itself is what matters most. For Gundam SEED fans, this makes for a perfectly fine addition to the collection alongside Strike, Blitz, and Aegis. :-)
