Among the five original SEED Gundams, all except Buster Gundam have been released in SD form — and for some reason, only the Verde Buster Gundam, which is essentially a weapons pack variant, got a BB Senshi release. I was hoping you might be able to remove the extra weapons and recreate a plain Buster Gundam, but unfortunately the weapon mounting parts, knee parts, and shoulder parts are all different, so converting it into a Buster Gundam just isn't possible. T_T
As you'd expect from a weapons expansion variant, it has a really flashy look — the head cover's movable gimmick and the shoulder missile pod open gimmick are both recreated (via removable parts). The gimmick where you swing the side-mounted beam rifles forward to use them as a twin launcher also works nicely, and overall the Verde Buster's signature weapons are well done.
The action poses you can pull off with all these flashy weapon gimmicks look pretty dynamic, and the overall styling is solid too — it's a straightforward SD kit that pretty much anyone can enjoy building without much hassle. That said, with no SD Buster Gundam release in sight, it's hard not to feel a little disappointed that they couldn't have just thrown in a few extra parts to make a conversion possible. :-)
