This is the third BB Senshi Zaku Warrior release — a Blaze Zaku Warrior, which takes the standard green Zaku Warrior and adds the Blaze pack. I kind of expected them to milk this one, but the kit quality is solid enough that building it again is still a good time. ^^

It's still a satisfying kit, with sleek proportions that set it apart from older BB Senshi Zakus, decent articulation, excellent color separation, and solid functionality. That said, since both the Gunner pack and Blaze pack have already come out in SD form, this kit really is just a straight-up color variation. The Zaku Warrior and Blaze pack characteristics are identical to before, so aside from the color, there's nothing new to discover here.

That said, the Blaze pack pairs really nicely with the standard green Zaku Warrior, so if you're a fan of SEED, the Zaku Warrior, and SD kits all in one, this is a top-tier SD lineup that's absolutely worth building. :-)
