Following the AGE-1 and AGE-2, the AGE-3 got the SD treatment at lightning speed. Compared to other SD series, the main units have been coming out one after another incredibly fast. And just like its predecessors, the AGE-3 was released as a deluxe combo kit that lets you build all three variants — Normal, Orbital, and Fortress.
The color separation on all three variants — Normal, Orbital, and Fortress — is pretty solid, so even a straight straight build gives you a pretty convincing look in terms of color and shape. Just like the previous kits, there's also a BB Senshi original gimmick where you collect the leftover parts, letting you display the unused two variants' parts assembled into a sort of aircraft-like form.
On top of that, the transformation gimmick into AGE-3's signature flight forms — the G-Cepter, G-Viper, and G-Hopper — is also included, and you can transform into all of them through a simple process. Even as an SD kit, it lets you swap out various variations and even transform, so the SD AGE series is really faithful to the source material.
It's a kit with clean looks and excellent recreation of the source material as its main selling points — if you're an AGE fan, this is an SD kit you'll be very happy with. :-)
