This is the SDCS Char's Zaku II, released as part of the SD Cross Silhouette series. True to the Zaku format, it's a variation kit of the previously released SDCS Mass Production Zaku II — same kit but with changed molded colors and a head antenna added. Since the weapon accessory lineup and the CS Frame swap feature are all identical, for this review you really just need to take a good look at how the new molded colors turned out.

The base kit already had great looks and functionality, so this one delivers the same solid quality. Char's signature pinkish-sausage color came out nicely molded without looking cheap at all. Sure, it's essentially a color variant kit, but that man's mobile suit has its own charisma — so this feels like a kit that was always meant to exist and is definitely worth picking up. :-)
