Be careful when removing the chest armor to swap the frame.
If you grab both ends of the blue armor and pull, the duct connector in the middle can snap like shown above. T_T

This kit is the SDCS RX-78-2 Gundam & Cross Silhouette Frame Set — a combined release of the SDCS RX-78-2 Gundam and the Cross Silhouette Frame [White], which were sold separately. Other than bundling the two kits together with a slightly revised manual, there are absolutely no bonus extras included. For detailed reviews of each individual kit, please refer to the SDCS RX-78-2 Gundam review and the CS Frame [White] reviewFor this Frame Set review, I'll be focusing on the Gundam with the CS frame swapped in.
Swapping out the stubby standard SD frame for the CS frame makes the overall height shoot up noticeably, and the proportions change dramatically. The elbows and knees start to bend, the shoulder range of motion increases, and posing becomes so much more natural — it's a massive upgrade. It's like watching an elementary schooler suddenly hit a growth spurt into a middle schooler; the difference in appearance is just that obvious. ^^
That said, since you're swapping out the frame itself rather than just the armor, the process is a bit fiddly — it's basically a near-complete teardown and rebuild, so it can be a hassle. With the RX-78 in particular, when separating the chest armor from the frame, grabbing both sides of the chest and pulling can risk breaking the middle section. (See the review photos above T_T) It's best to grab the center of the chest and separate it slowly and carefully.
The SDCS with the CS frame installed really is on a whole different level compared to a standard SD — the proportions and articulation had me genuinely impressed throughout the build. The base kit with just the SD frame is great on its own, but I'd strongly recommend trying it out with the CS frame if you can.
Anyway, this is ultimately just a straight bundle with zero bonuses, so whether you buy the combined kit or pick them up separately is entirely up to you. That said, since you'll need at least one CS frame regardless, it might just be easier to grab the bundle and save yourself the trouble. :-)
