Kit Review

This kit is the SD Zeong released as a G Generation version, which is essentially BB Senshi No. 16 Zeong with the final battle hand parts added to the lineup. The overall look is just the absolute pinnacle of cuteness. It's supposed to have that menacing, imposing feel to it... but the stubby little hands and oversized skirt end up turning it into an almost unbearably adorable character instead.
To build it as the Perfect Zeong, you just swap out the two verniers under the skirt and the leg parts. The vernier detail is pretty decent overall, and the four chest verniers in particular are fully color-separated with separate parts and interior detail intact.
You get two sets of hands — a standard flat open-hand set and a large "final battle" hand set. The final battle hands have decent volume and look pretty imposing. Both sets can be launched using the button on the shoulder and the internal spring mechanism, and they've got quite a range to them. Wire cables are also included, so you can recreate the Zeong's signature detached-fist-swinging(?) action too.
Anyway, for an older kit the color separation and seal work are pretty solid, so the colors come out looking decent — and unlike the typical BB Senshi, this one really leans into the cuteness. ^^
