The Ez-8 from the 08th MS Team has made it into the G Generation Zero SD lineup — and it actually beat out the Ground-type Gundam, which is arguably more of a main unit, to get here first ^^;

What makes the SD Ez-8 stand out is how well it pulls off the unique moving pack backpack and its generous weapon loadout. You get a full five weapons in total — beam saber, shield, and beam rifle as the standard trio, plus a hyper bazooka and missile launcher on top of that. And just like in the show, the beam rifle and missile launcher can actually be stored inside the moving pack. There's no locking mechanism to hold them in place, so they just rattle around loosely in there, but it's still a fun little touch that they bothered to recreate that detail at all.

The weapons are a bit rough on the back side with all that hollowing, but the fact that it comes packed with a full set of options still makes it a worthwhile SD kit. It's a shame there's no SD Ground-type Gundam to go with it, but for fans of the 08th MS Team, this is definitely a nice little treat. :-)
