Following the Char's custom version, the mass production variant of the Z'Gok — one of the most beloved old-school SD items — has now been released. Visually, the only change is the molded color, swapped from that processed-meat pinkish tone to a blue color scheme. As you can see though, the molded colors are quite a bit off from the official color settings, which is a bit of a shame.

That said, the design itself is just so wonderfully SD and adorable that it's easily one of the most popular items in the old-school G Generation Zero series. Articulation is pretty limited as you'd expect from an SD kit, but it's so cute even in a simple pose that you can't really complain. ^^ One nice touch though — the ankles fold back 90 degrees, letting you recreate the underwater navigation mode.

The previous SD Char's Z'Gok came with a cute little GM standing at attention as a bonus, and this SD mass production Z'Gok comes with the support flyer Fang Fang as its bonus. Like the GM, it's molded in a single color so painting is pretty much required — but in true SD fashion, it's charming enough just as it is.
