Look closely and you'll notice the head antenna and head are slightly different.

The difference in weapons.

Following the Cross Bone Gundam X1, the X2 wraps up the old-style SD lineup. True to its lore, it's essentially a color variation kit of the X1 with a darker color scheme. The head and some weapons have been changed, but the completely different color palette makes it look almost like an entirely different kit.

As you can see from the snap-fit build shots, quite a few seals need to be applied before the colors really match the design specs — same story as the X1. That said, the seal count is a bit lower compared to the X1. The head and head antenna design are only subtly different from the X1, so it's hard to tell them apart at a glance. The newly added Short Lancer, on the other hand, really stands out as a weapon and gives the X2 its own identity separate from the X1.

Overall it's a solid, no-frills old-style SD kit, and it'd look great displayed alongside the Cross Bone Gundam X1. Since it's never been released as an MG or HGUC, it carries some real rarity value as a kit — that alone makes it pretty meaningful. :-)
