Gunner Zaku Warrior

Kit Review

Straight build + panel lining + partial painting

Shortly after the Lunamaria-use Gunner Zaku Warrior came out, the Dearka-use Gunner Zaku Warrior was released as well. Despite being called the "Dearka-use" version, the main body is straight from the regular Zaku Warrior, and the Gunner Pack is the exact same one included with the Lunamaria version — so calling it a molded color variation is almost embarrassing;; It's basically just a runner-swap kit with zero originality. So for the basic structure, refer to the HG Zaku Warrior review, and for the Gunner Pack structure, refer to the HG Gunner Zaku Warrior Lunamaria Custom review.

The origins of this kit are a bit sketchy, but... it actually looks surprisingly decent. The Lunamaria-use Gunner Zaku Warrior has its own nice color scheme and quality, but personally I find this blue standard-type Gunner version to have a cleaner, sharper look. It also photographs really well..

The quality is already proven, so.. if you're a fan of the Gunner-type Zaku Warrior, it's worth considering alongside the Lunamaria unit. Especially recommended for those who find the red color a bit hard on the eyes.^^
