This kit is the HG Destiny Gundam Clear Color version, released as a Gundam Expo 2006 exclusive. Rather than being fully transparent, it uses a smoked clear finish — the colors come out a little muted, but it gives the kit a more solid, defined presence compared to a straight clear version.

The HG Destiny was already one of the better kits in the HG SEED lineup, and going to the clear version actually tightened up the joint strength overall, making it an even more stable kit. On top of that, even at the HG level, the various weapon parts unique to the Destiny all have their articulation gimmicks intact, the color separation is pretty well done, and the Wings of Light are included too — so it feels like a pretty packed kit all around.

The Wings of Light in particular look great paired with the clear body, and while the kit is on the smaller side, it's a limited edition with plenty going for it in its own right. :-)
