This kit is the Armed Astray PMC Custom, a variation of the Civilian Astray released as part of the HG Stargazer side-story series. It's a unit from the SEED Frame Astray side-story, essentially a retool of the existing Civilian Astray with a new molded color scheme and a redesigned head.

Since it's a color variant kit, there isn't a whole lot to look at beyond the color changes — but it does come with both the new Arms Astray head and the original Civilian Astray head. That said, since the face parts are shared between the two, it's more accurate to say you can swap heads by disassembling and reassembling rather than having two complete heads. Either way, it's nice that the price didn't go up despite the addition of new parts.

Being a successor concept to the Astray, you can feel the Astray's DNA all over it, and the design has a relatively sleek look that makes the straight build come together nicely. Articulation and gimmicks are solid too. The color scheme is a bit on the dull side, but it's an unusual combination you don't often see in Gunpla, so it does have its own personality.

Even if its origins and backstory are fairly minor, the base quality of the kit itself is quite good, so if it catches your interest it's definitely worth picking up. This completes all five kits from the SEED Frame Astray side-story lineup — most of them are color variant kits so they haven't been hugely popular, but since they're all based on solid high-quality kits, I'd say the lineup is worth it as a fun little side project. :-)
