The 5th kit in the SEED MSV HG series is the Cgue D.E.E.P. Arms, a heavily modified version of the original Mobile CGUE. Most of the core structure carries over from the original Cgue, but the head, leg sections, and shoulders have been changed, and the color scheme has shifted to a deep blue. The D.E.E.P. Arms also gets a large backpack with a massive energy cannon connected to it, which makes for a very different overall look.

Just like the original Mobile CGUE before it, the D.E.E.P. Arms inherits that same solid frame — decent articulation and sturdy joints throughout. Whatever action pose you put it in, everything holds firm without falling apart, giving you nice stable poses. The molded color is actually a deeper blue than it looks in the photos — it's a rich, serious tone that doesn't look cheap at all. The color separation is generally well done overall, though a few of the more complex areas weren't separated, so some partial painting was needed. (See photos for reference.)

Personally, out of the entire SEED HG lineup, the Cgue D.E.E.P. Arms is my favorite, and those massive shoulder weapons are the biggest selling point. Even just standing there, it has this refined, voluminous presence, and when you put it in an action pose, it's got serious impact.

Maybe because of those huge shoulder weapons, the D.E.E.P. Arms feels a little light on additional armaments. The only external weapon is a single laser sword holstered at the side — but at least that laser sword has a great look to it. The laser blade portion is done in a soft pink part like beam saber material, and it's designed to be removable. On top of that, the standard Mobile CGUE weapon parts are technically left over as dummy parts, so if you really wanted to, you could build and attach those too. :-)

All things considered, even among the already solid SEED HG lineup, this kit is the one I'd most recommend across the board — style, color, quality, you name it. Despite being a small 1/144 scale kit, the sheer presence that comes from its unique design is something not just any kit can pull off!
