Quite a few parts on the runners come pre-painted, and the finish is a bit more precise and clean compared to Kotobukiya.

In the case of the G runner, every single part has been painted.

But.. every part on the G runner is painted the same dark iron color,
if they were going to do that, it would've made more sense to just mold the whole thing in dark iron color, or paint the entire runner at once.
Tomytec went out of their way to paint only the individual parts precisely.
Somehow feels like a more expensive spot-painting approach...

The H runner likewise has every part painted.

The H runner parts are painted in a combination of silver and gold.
Again, it would've been nicer if the base plastic were molded in silver,
but Tomytec seems to just mold in whatever color and plan on painting all the parts anyway.
(Somehow feels even more generous than Kotobukiya ^^;)

Decals printed on the parts.

The teeth parts came out very sharp and finely detailed.

Compared to the sharp exterior molds, the frame molds feel a bit on the chunky side.

Clear runner.

It's a small kit, but quite a lot of polycaps are used.

A pilot figure that's tiny at 1/144 scale, but still comes with paint applied.

Waterslide decals are included.

The Tomytec MSS Zoids series comes with a pre-painted diorama base like this.

The paint quality is pretty impressive.. Probably the main reason for the higher price ;;
