This kit is the MG Prototype Gouf, released as a Club G (Premium Bandai) online exclusive. The Prototype Gouf that first appeared in the Origin HG series has now made it to MG as well. It's based on the MG Gouf 2.0released as a standard retail kit, with a number of newly sculpted parts added into the mix.
Built on the foundation of the Gouf 2.0 — which itself was based on the MG Zaku 2.0 — one interesting thing to note is that the Zaku leg frame has been brought back in place of the Gouf-specific leg frame. On the exterior, the head, upper body, legs, and backpack have all been redesigned in a new style, and the design changes are significant enough that it comes across as a distinctly characterful new Gouf.
Since the basic skeleton is shared with the Zaku/Gouf 2.0, it carries on the legacy of those top-tier kits with excellent build quality, articulation, and joint strength. On the weapons front, the standard Gouf 2.0 shield and heat saber are joined by three additional weapons from the MG Zaku 2.0, making for a more well-rounded loadout.
All in all, this is a great variation kit with a strong sense of originality. It's especially a must-have for any One Year War fan — the content and quality are sure to impress. Personally, it's a fantastic kit I'd recommend to any Gunpla fan out there. :-)
