Club G RE/100

Efreet Schneid

Kit Review

Straight build + Stickers

This kit is the RE/100 Efreet Schneid, released as a Club G (Premium Bandai) online exclusive. Based on the RE/100 Efreet Kaireleased as a general retail release, this version adds a number of newly sculpted parts. The Efreet Schneid came out as a general retail HGUC, but the RE/100 version went the Club G route.

The basic frame is identical to the RE/100 Efreet Kai, so it delivers solid articulation and joint strength. The polycap hold is still a touch weak for a kit this size, but pose stability isn't bad overall. The biggest feature of the Efreet Schneid is the 14 Heat Darts mounted all over its body — you choose between the normal and glowing states using stickers. There are dedicated parts for gripping the Heat Darts, so no worries about them slipping out of the hands. A Giant Bazooka is also included, though it's straight-up reused from the MG Zaku 2.0.

All in all, the visuals feel like a significant departure from the base kit, giving this one a solid sense of originality. If you're into the big, flashy Efreet Schneid look, this seems like a kit well worth picking up at the very reasonable price of ¥3500. :-)
