You can remove the front section and swap in the deployed joint parts.
It'd be nice if everything lined up straight when deployed, but as you can see, the alignment is often off.
In my case, there was also a slight warping defect on top of that, so the upper section is lifting quite a bit. T_T
When mounting in the deployed state onto the backpack, connect the joint parts shown above.

Also included is one set of flat hands representing actual 1:1 life-size hands.
There's only one leftover part.
Just the one backpack part for the long-range fin funnel gets swapped out.
The main body's articulation is the same as the original.
