Since it's based on the Ver.RM — the improved version of Strike Gundam — the base body's joint strength is rock solid. It can stand on its own even with all those big, heavy weapons attached. That said, using the included dedicated stand is definitely the way to go for posing.

One interesting thing to note: the hand parts for gripping the Grand Slam are borrowed straight from the early MG Aile Strike Gundam's articulated finger hands. Because of this, two MG Strike Gundam runners have been added, but aside from the hand parts, everything else on them ends up as leftover parts. It seems like they went with the older articulated finger hands because the Ver.RM's swappable finger hands just can't get a stable grip on the Grand Slam.
