Following the popular anime "Demon Slayer," Kamado Tanjirohis younger sister Kamado Nezuko has now made her appearance as a plastic model kit. The contents follow the same format as previous releases — a fixed-pose figure model with no articulation. Compared to earlier kits, the number of seals has been reduced, and the kit achieves a pretty impressive look through painted parts and color separation alone.

First off, the two-tone hair — molded as separate pieces and painted — comes out looking really three-dimensional and great. The printed face is also nicely done, showing a high level of accuracy to the source material. The white collar and the white bands on the legs are also cleanly color-separated. The one letdown is the soles, where yellow seals are required on every surface — at that point, I really wish they'd just gone with proper color separation instead.

Maybe because the seals have been reduced, but it feels a step up in overall quality compared to Tanjiro or Rengoku. The ¥4,200 price tag does feel a bit steep for what you get, though it's definitely something a fan can justify. Either way, I'm a huge Demon Slayer fan myself, and if you're a fan of the series, this is a fantastic figure model kit that's well worth enjoying. :-)
