Just like previous Valkyries, a Super Pack has been released for the Siegfried from Macross Delta — and similar to Macross Frontier, the Super Pack and the Super Siegfried were released at the same time. This kit here is the Super Pack for VF-31J [Hayate], which contains only the super parts.

The overall concept and composition of the Super Pack is the same as previous releases — chest armor is added, the legs and forearms bulk up, and a large backpack is added. So it's really just a different design with the same idea, nothing particularly fresh. That said, being a newer design, the overall color separation and detail work came out clean and sharp.

The missile pods that attach to the shoulders are of course implemented as openable, but aside from that there aren't really any other moving parts — it's basically just a matter of attaching everything. You'll need to disassemble the chest armor and forearm armor from the existing VF-31J Siegfried and swap them out with the super parts, and for the legs, everything except the inner frame and feet needs to be completely replaced. For the wings, you only need to swap out the vertical stabilizer hinge part to mount the large super backpack.
