TOPBox Open
Massive box.
Hard to tell from the photos, but this is pretty much the largest box size among all Gunpla. The box length is roughly 90cm.
Both the front and back illustrations are excellent.
Size comparison between large boxes.
It may be thinner than the HGUC Den-chan box, but in terms of length it's in a league of its own..;
The height is smaller than the 1/24 HY2M First, but thanks to the length, the overall volume still goes to Yamato!

Box Open
As you'd expect from a big box, it comes with a carry handle.
The box weighs a total of 7kg.. it's pretty heavy.
The white cardboard pieces are padding to keep the differently-sized boxes from shifting around during shipping.
Pull everything out and this is what you get.
Opening boxes A and B. Packed full of parts.
There are only a few large runners in there, so it looks a bit sparse somehow.
Open the smallest box and out come the control units.
Packed full of various motors and gears.
Opening the middle miscellaneous box. They've carefully covered everything with paper to keep things from falling out.
It contains some power supply components, cables, metal parts, and a speaker.
The last of the three small boxes — the remote control box.
The remote is packed in like this.
There are 4 manuals in total, with two of them separately wrapped in plastic bags.
There are 4 in total: a color introduction manual, a black-and-white assembly manual, a runner layout diagram, and an operation guide~
And one more thing.. there's a large sheet of paper the size of the box, and inside it is a plastic poster.
It's the same as the box art. The illustration is really elegant and stunning.
Absolutely massive runners.. these are for the stand section, and they're seriously heavy. Around 1kg maybe?
Again~ parts with incredible bulk. But the hull isn't one solid piece —
Instead, the armor is divided up into sections like this.
The sheer bulk..

Slide molds everywhere
The part that impressed me most in terms of detail..
The bridge (cockpit) section is barely the size of a fingernail, yet every single seat is individually molded.
There's one oddly-shaped white runner..
It contains each of the characters as tiny 1/350 scale figures.
The thoughtful touch of having each figure's name printed right on the runner!
The figure in the center of the photo is the Captain himself.. in that pose where he's lying in bed sick;
Some parts have undergates.
The photo above shows the canopy section near the bridge. Very few parts actually use this though ;;
The main gun barrels are metal :-) Truly a luxury kit.
But.. these metal barrels are the one thing that's made in China..
The detail is very fine.
Looking a bit closer, yep — very finely detailed.
Foam stickers and foil stickers. Used for securing wiring and reflecting light.
