So for this review, you really just need to pay close attention to the three sets of point color parts that come included.

The original orange parts are the same as those on the existing 1/1000 Asuka, the light yellow parts are used when building the Fast Combat Support Tender Ohmi/Elbe, and the dark gray parts are used for the Amphibious Assault Ship Vancouver/Mamiya/Amundsen/Colossus. Separate stand stickers are also included for each individual ship. If you want to build out the entire fleet, you'd need to buy 6 of these kits.

So it's essentially a color variant kit with expanded options for recreating multiple ships. There's nothing new here, but the Asuka-class vessels themselves have a genuinely attractive design and solid build quality. It'll probably appeal most to fans of Yamato 3199, but honestly it's the kind of kit that could win over anyone who just loves spaceship models in general. And since it's basically a more budget-friendly version of the existing 1/1000 Asuka with the LED unit removed, if the look appeals to you, it's a pretty great value kit worth picking up. :-)
