This kit is the Durga II released as part of the Frame Arms Girl series. Frame Arms Girl Durga I serves as the base, Frame Arms Durga II'sdesign has been added to the mix. The actual Durga I head decoration, lance, and twin back hair pieces are also included.

The end result does bring the design closer to the Durga II that served as the motif, though the molded color has changed drastically from silver to white (see comparison photos above). An aiming jammer has been added on top of the head for the Durga II, and along with various weapons, a two-stage articulated ponytail and waist decoration have been added as well. The new weapons include 2 Lihars, 1 Hazit, and a shield called the Helaine. You can plug the 2 Lihars onto the Hazit's handle to form the larger Berngrust.

The Helaine also features a gimmick that deploys the claw, and a separate part is included for the head aiming jammer's jamming mode. Since the main body shares the same structure as the existing Frame Arms Girl Durga I, it still delivers solid articulation and excellent joint strength. That said, with so many things hanging off it, some parts do fall off during posing — the instep parts in particular tend to drop off easily just like on the Durga I, so watch out for that.

All in all, this is a girlpla with a rich parts selection and plenty of options, and it's great to see the Durga II follow up the Durga I while staying faithful to the concept. Either way, if you're into girlplas and the style appeals to you, this is definitely a kit worth building. :-)
