This kit is the Evangelion Unit-00 Kai TV version released as part of Kotobukiya's Evangelion series. It's based on the previously released Evangelion Unit-01 TV version, with changes to the molded colors and some new sculpting added. The overall look has a subtly different feel compared to the Rebuild of Evangelion series kits.

The basic frame structure and articulation are similar to the existing Kotobukiya Evangelion series, so it still delivers excellent sculpt quality, great articulation, and solid joint strength. The new sculpting adds Unit-00 Kai's distinctive head along with the newly included N2 mine. A dedicated hand for gripping the N2 mine has also been newly added, and thanks to its secure hold, you can recreate that iconic in-series pose of Unit-00 running with its left arm severed. On top of that, the Lance of Longinus that came with the Evangelion Unit-13has been reused here as well, and everything else is the same as the Unit-01 TV version.

All in all, it's great to see the Unit-00 Kai TV version get a clean variation release like this. If you're a fan of the Evangelion TV series, this kit should definitely have plenty of appeal. :-)
