This kit is a non-scale Fubuki Blast Guard released as part of the Muv-Luv series. It's based on the previously released Fubukiwith missile containers and a shield added to the lineup. The light blue molded color has been changed to blue, and the dark blue joints have also been changed to dark gray.

So essentially, it's Shiranui Imperial Japan Spec Full Option Set / Shiranui Isumi Valkyries Spec Full Option Set — much like those, this is Fubuki in full option spec. For this review, just paying close attention to the changed molded colors and weapon combinations should be enough. Since the Fubuki itself is a recently released new-tooled Muv-Luv kit, it already delivers top-notch durability and build quality. And with the full option weapons added on top, the overall package feels even more complete.

One thing worth noting — a dedicated hand and grip for holding the large shield have been added as new sculpts. The hand itself isn't anything new visually, but it does let you mount the shield nice and securely.

So overall, this is essentially a color variant + weapon reuse kit with just a tiny bit of new parts thrown in. That said, the quality itself is among the best of any Muv-Luv kit, so if the look appeals to you, it's definitely worth recommending as a mecha plastic model. :-)
