This kit is the Marutoys Mamoru [White Ver.] released by Kotobukiya. Tamotsuand NoseruFollowing those, this is a newly sculpted Marutoys character, and it's come out noticeably bigger and more voluminous compared to the previous releases.

First off, the larger size brings a big increase in gimmicks — the main arms and claws can be deployed, the upper body and legs can be expanded, and the sub-arm units hidden on either side of the torso can be deployed as well. Spreading out all the gimmicks at once is quite a sight, and you can pull off some fairly dynamic poses by making use of the various articulated sections. On top of that, the joints feel smooth while still holding their position firmly, making this a kit that's genuinely fun to pose.

As a bonus, an enhanced sensor equipment type head and 4 joint parts are included, and just like the previous releases, collaboration with Frame Arms Girl or other girl model kits is encouraged. All in all, this kit boasts bigger and more elaborate gimmicks than the existing Marutoys series, and if you like the look and the functionality, it seems like a solidly built mecha model kit that's well worth recommending. :-)
