This kit is the 1/12 Rockman X Second Armor Double Charge Shot Version released as part of Kotobukiya's Rockman series. It's based on the previously released X Second Armorwith changed molded colors and a variety of effect parts added to the lineup. The Double Charge Shot effect parts, Shoryuken effect parts, and a stand joint part have all been newly included.

The main body is pretty much identical to the original, with only a slight overall darkening of the molded colors. The only thing removed is the Zero Buster for Rockman Zero that was previously included as a bonus, and it still delivers the same stable quality — excellent molded colors, great color separation, solid articulation and joint strength. The eye direction on the face has also been tweaked to look off to one side. For this review, it's probably worth focusing mainly on the changes to the molded colors and the new effect parts. The added Double Charge Shot and Shoryuken effect parts are nicely realized with a good sense of depth thanks to the multiple parts used, and the new joint part means you can now mount it on a stand while gripping it around the waist.

So this is a relatively straightforward color variant + effect parts addition variation kit — but the base quality is solid and the added effect parts look great, making it a pretty tempting package for any Rockman fan. :-)
