This kit is the 1/12 Rock Man Scramble Thunder Ver. released as part of Kotobukiya's Rock Man series. Just like the simultaneously released 1/12 Rock Man File Drive Ver., 1/12 Rock Man (Rock Man 11 Ver.)serves as the base, and just like that one, it's a kit with changed molded colors along with a new head and weapons.

Since the body minus the head is still identical to the 11 Ver., it carries over the improved joints and excellent articulation. You can optionally attach the Scramble Thunder to either arm and pull off a good variety of poses without much trouble.

There are actually quite a few more Rock Man weapon variations in Rock Man 11 beyond this one, so I could see them eventually turning all of them into kits. The quality is solid enough that building the same base kit multiple times wouldn't really get old (the price is another story though..). Either way, this should make a great gift for plastic model fans who loved Rock Man 11 :-)
