Eye paint work
The 1/100 Super Robot Wars series includes a painted pilot figure.
That's probably why the price went up.. though honestly, I think I'd rather they just left it out..
Interestingly, light-up parts are also included.
Lately, slide molds have been showing up all over the place in Kotobukiya kits. Maybe production costs are lower since they're made in Chinese factories..?
The round parts are molded as single solid pieces using slide injection molding.
Some gates that are heavily exposed on the exterior are done as under-gates.
If they were going to do it, it would've been nice to apply it to all the outer armor, but this option is only used on the front shoulder armor.
