Kit Review
Straight build
Look closely and you can see that even tiny details that would be impossible to pull off in 1/144
have been carefully color separated.
The shoulder Square Claymore opens up.
Look closely and you'll notice there's also a double-cover gimmick on the black inner section that opens to both sides.
The button cell batteries in the backpack supply power to the LED in the head via a connector on the back.
There's no separate switch — push the backpack fully against the back and it turns ON,
pull it back slightly and it turns OFF.
Trying it out in practice, toggling it on and off is a bit fiddly and frustrating...
They really should've just included a proper switch. Bleh.
There's a special hip joint gimmick similar to Bandai's approach...
Each hip joint can be moved forward and backward independently.
It works like a lever, stepping along a fan-shaped locking pin... but the locking isn't all that solid.
The ankle and foot articulation itself is good.
The front of the foot moves on multiple joints too...
Though in practice when you're actually posing it, you don't really end up using it much. ;;
LED on!
Since the light reaches all the way to the clear head antenna,
the color combination gives off a more dazzling glow than you'd expect.
