The red parts have a light metallic coating.
Not sure if the coating is too thin, but it gives more of a gloss injection feel than an actual metallic one.
The glossy plated surface..
The gold/silver plated surfaces have an Extra Finish-style look that looks really nice.
Almost all the other runners have a coat applied, which makes them look great.
The face is painted over the plated parts
