Its official name is the "High-Output Second Prototype Self-Propelled 460mm Positron Cannon," and it's sculpted based on the Rebuild of Evangelion design, which is far more refined than the TV series version. Since the positron cannon is a weapon used by Unit-01, the set also includes Type-G sniper equipment that swaps out Unit-01's shoulder. Pair it with the separately sold RG Unit-01 and you can recreate that iconic sniping scene from the film without any trouble.

All in all, it's a satisfying accessory in terms of sculpt and visuals. There aren't really any special articulation gimmicks, so just enjoy it for the looks and how you can use it in displays. Personally, I like it more than the transport carrier that came with the Unit-01 DX set, and if you're an Eva fan, this is definitely worth adding to your collection :-)
