This kit is the RG Goldymarg, released following the RG GaoGaiGar. In Japan it came out as a Premium Bandai online exclusive, but overseas it was distributed as a general retail release. RG GaoGaiGarJust like that kit, this is an RG that relies on precision detail and transformation gimmicks rather than an inner frame-based construction.

The overall parts layout and assembly method are similar to the RG GaoGaiGar, and since the parts are on the larger side for an RG, it goes together faster than you'd expect. That said, the crisp panel lines and transformation gimmicks will definitely have you shouting "This is RG!" The trade-off is that all the focus on the transformation gimmick leaves the articulation feeling a bit vague, without many great poses to strike.
