This kit is the HGUC Gundam G07 released as a Club G (Premium Bandai) online exclusive. The standard retail release back in 2009 was the HGUC Full Armor Gundam G07,so this is essentially just the base unit released on its own. With a 16-year gap between them, this kit has been completely remodeled with an all-new sculpt.

Being a 100% new mold, it comes out as a modern HGUC kit with sharp detail and solid articulation. The joints in particular are extremely tight across the board, giving you stable pose-holding no matter what position you put it in. With polycap-less joints this sturdy, there's a risk of them feeling uncomfortably stiff — like the HGCE SEED Freedom kits — but this one hits just the right balance, feeling snug and firm without being a pain to move.

For weapons, you only get the basic set of beam rifle/shield/beam saber, with no other accessories to speak of, so there isn't much in the way of special extras. That said, the kit itself is so clean and well-made that the lack of accessories doesn't really feel like a drawback.

And so, with this, Gundam 4th unit,, 5th unit,, 6th unit,and now the 7th unit have all gotten the HG treatment. Personally, I think the 7th unit turned out the best of the bunch — the most universally appealing. Either way, it's a clean, refined design with rock-solid build quality, and I'd say it's an excellent Gunpla that I'd highly recommend to everyone. :-)
